Blue is the Dolphin sprouting out of the ocean while doing a triple flip in the air.

Blue is the fabric dancing in the salty sea air.

Blue is a sapphire glimmering and shimmering in the fresh air..

Blue is the beautiful roses' blooming in the fresh new soil.

Blue is the big thunder clouds pouring with splashy rain.

Blue is the big whale with his big blue tail.

Blue is the sparkling kite dancing and prancing in the sky.

In Room 9 we have been learning our place value. Each of us were given a number to do  it on a app called Show Me have a look at mine.

It was a nice sunny day when I got up. I thought to myself I'm going to have a picnic. I gathered up some stuff and headed out to the gardens. That day it was as hot as the sun. After a while I was baking hot I had to rest. Then I heard something it said "look up can you see it" so I looked up I saw a bird it was the one who had spoke. I had never meet a speaking bird before. He had found a nice shady spot to rest so I followed him and we shared our picnic.

Remember that time 
when the grass shimmied  in the summer sun 
or when the waves thrashed against the sparkling sand 
and the boats drifted in the calm sea.
That was summer.

Remember that time 
when the breeze softened your skin 
and the sand shrank into your toes while you ran 
or when the freezing cold water sprayed you. 
That was summer.

Remember that time 
when the dolphins smashed against the water when it hit them 
or when the greedy seagulls squawked for food 
and the waves crashed against the shore. 
That was summer.

Remember that time 
when the roasted chicken was roasting on the barbecue 
or when the fruit was ripening on the fruit trees 
and all the mussels were between the rocks.

when we tried that tasty kahawai 
or the fishtastic snapper 
and don't for get the sushi.
